Squabble is a 2022 web-based battle royale word game developed and published by Ottomated. It combines Wordle, a word game created by Josh Wardle on The New York Times, and survival.

Gameplay

Squabble combines Wordle and battle royale mechanics.[1] There are two modes in Squabble: Blitz and Squabble Royale. In Blitz, 2 to 5 players compete, while in Squabble Royale, there are 6 to 99 players.[2][3][4] Each player has a health bar decreasing by one health point (HP) every second.[2][3] To restore health, players must consecutively solve Wordle puzzles by guessing a five-letter word within six tries.[5] Additionally, when a letter within a word is correct, an opponent gets damaged.[4][6] Incorrect guesses can subtract the player's HP.[6][7] If a player loses all of their HP, they are eliminated. The last player remaining wins the game.[4][7] After a game, players may view other grids in replay mode.[1][6]
