Steven Gilmore Jr.[1] (born September 17, 1999) is an American football cornerback for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Marshall Thundering Herd and signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent after the 2023 NFL Draft.

On May 12, 2023, the Detroit Lions signed Gilmore to a three-year, $2.71 million contract as an undrafted free agent.[3][4] He made the initial 53-man roster on August 29, 2023.[5]

Personal life

Gilmore is the younger brother of cornerback Stephon Gilmore, who plays for the Dallas Cowboys.[1]
