Szczeglice[2][3][4] [ʂt͡ʂɛˈɡlit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bogoria, within Staszów County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-east of Bogoria, 17 km (11 mi) north-east of Staszów, and 55 km (34 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kielce.[5]

Demography

According to the 2002 Poland census, there were 265 people residing in Szczeglice village, of whom 48.7% were male and 51.3% were female. In the village, the population was spread out, with 26.4% under the age of 18, 32.8% from 18 to 44, 18.1% from 45 to 64, and 22.6% who were 65 years of age or older.[1]
