Tânia Fernandes Morais (born 12 September 1982) is a Luxembourgian Association football referee and former footballer.[1]

Early life

Morais moved from Portugal to Luxembourg at the age of eight.[2] Morais studied economics.[3]

Career

Morais played as a goalkeeper before starting refereeing in 2001.[4]

Morais became the first Luxembourgian female referee to referee a senior men's game.[5] She has refereed games in the French and Belgian women's leagues.[6] She has been involved in basketball in Luxembourg.[7] Morais obtained a FIFA Referee License.[8] She has a brother.[9]
