Tang Chenar (Persian: تنگ چنار, also Romanized as Tang Chenār and Tang-e Chenār)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Tang Chenar Rural District of the Central District of Mehriz County, Yazd province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 802 in 234 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 771 people in 261 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 82 people in 32 households.[2]
