Thangamagal: Ilam Devadhaigalin Kadhai (Golden Girl: A tale of young angels) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language television series starring Yuvan Mayilsamy and Ashwini Aanandita.[1] It revolves around an arrogant rich young girl who is forced to live in a housemaid for Forgiveness. The series will be released on Star Vijay in January 2024.

Synopsis

The series revolves around a rich young girl named Hasini (Ashwini Aanandita). Having unknowingly killed someone in a car accident, she joins their house as a maid for their forgiveness. The story is whether they forgave her.

Casting

Newcomer actor Yuvan Mayilsamy[1] is cast in the main lead role in the serial, he is the son of former comedian Mayilsamy.[3] Actress Ashwini Aanandita[4] was selected for the female lead role of Hasini in the series after her notable performances in Namma Veetu Ponnu.[5]

Vinodhini Vaidyanathan was cast Hasini's Mother, who is lawyer. Neepa Siva was cast as single mother. Thalaivasal Vijay were also selected for special appearances.

Release

The first promo was unveiled on 4 January 2024, featuring Hero (Yuvan Mayilsamy) and Heroine (Ashwini Aanandita) Introduction.[6] The second promo was unveiled on 10 January 2024, which give a brief insight in heroine lives.[7]

Promotion

Star Vijay was promoted their new two fictions Chinna Marumagal[8] and including this series by making advertisement with Bigg Boss season 7 and this episode was released on 5 January 2024.[9]
