Valentin Purosalo (born 10 September 2005) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Veikkausliiga club Inter Turku and the Finland U19 national team.[1][2][3]

Career

Born in Turku, Purosalo started playing football in Turun Nappulaliiga youth sector. He joined Inter Turku in 2018.[4] Purosalo grew up near Veritas Stadion, the home stadium of Inter Turku.[5]

He made his Veikkausliiga debut with Inter Turku first team on 8 July 2023, in a 2–2 away draw against Haka, scoring his first league goal in the match.[6]

International career

In October 2023, Purosalo was part of the Finland U19 squad in the 2024 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification tournament, in three games against Romania, Czech Republic and San Marino.[7]
