Vedma Bhojju is an Adivasi leader and politician from Telangana state.[1] He was elected as an MLA from Khanapur constituency in the 2023 assembly elections.
Early life
He is the son of a poor tribal couple, Vedma Bhimrao and Girijabai, hailing from Kallurguda, Utnuru mandal in the united Adilabad district. He still resides in the Indiramma house allocated by the Congress government. A postgraduate and first worked in the Adivasi Student Association, then as a consultant in the Adivasi Rights Struggle Committee (Tudumbama) and then as a contract employee. He resigned from his job two years ago and joined the Congress party in the presence of PCC President Revanth Reddy.[2]
