Winkel (French pronunciation: [viŋkəl] ; ⓘ[3] Alsatian: Wínkel) is a commune in the Haut-Rhin department in Alsace in north-eastern France.
The river Ill takes its source in the village. Its inhabitants are called Winkelois and Winkeloises.[4]
