The Women's Bangladesh Cricket League is an annual women's first-class cricket cricket tournament that began in Bangladesh during the 2023 season.[1]
History
Bangladesh gained Women's Test status in 2021, although they are yet to play a Test match.[2]
The Women's Bangladesh Cricket League (Women's BCL) started on 30 March 2023 at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna. Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel, Head of the Women's Division of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), inaugurated the tournament.
Teams
The Women's BCL consists of 3 teams, named after three of Bangladesh's major rivers, Padma, Meghna and Jamuna:

- Tema Padma
