Yam (Persian: يام, also Romanized as Yām)[3] is a village in Hesar Rural District of Khabushan District, Faruj County, North Khorasan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,428 in 400 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,408 people in 454 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,328 people in 452 households; Yam was the largest village in its rural district at the time. [2]
