Șipca (Moldovan Cyrillic: Шипка; Russian: Шипка, romanized: Shipka; Ukrainian: Шипка, romanized: Shypka) is a commune in the Grigoriopol sub-district of Transnistria, Moldova. It is composed of two villages, Șipca and Vesioloe (Веселе, Весёлое).[1] It is currently under the administration of the breakaway government of the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic.
Notes
- ↑ Transnistria's political status is disputed. It considers itself to be an independent state, but this is not recognised by any UN member state. The Moldovan government and the international community consider Transnistria a part of Moldova's territory.
