Abdolabad (Persian: عبدل اباد, also Romanized as ‘Abdolābād)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Howmeh Rural District of the Central District of Mahvelat County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 5,561 in 1,435 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 5,830 people in 1,736 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,618 people in 1,739 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
