Mahvelat-e Shomali Rural District (Persian: دهستان مه ولات شمالي) is in Shadmehr District of Mahvelat County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Dughabad.[3]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,424 in 1,214 households.[4] There were 4,430 inhabitants in 1,352 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,350 in 1,354 households. The largest of its 14 villages was Dughabad, with 2,780 people.[2]
