Aghili-ye Shomali Rural District (Persian: دهستان عقيلي شمالي) is in Aghili District of Gotvand County, Khuzestan province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Somaleh.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 10,415 in 2,049 households.[3] There were 4,036 inhabitants in 943 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,708 in 953 households. The largest of its nine villages was Badil, with 965 people.[2]
