Arab Hasan (Persian: عرب حسن, also Romanized as ‘Arab Ḩasan)[3] is a village in Miyan Ab-e Jonubi Rural District of Miyan Ab District, Shushtar County, Khuzestan province, Iran, and serves as capital of the district.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,107 in 356 households, when it was in Miyan Ab Rural District of the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,147 people in 468 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,268 people in 601 households, by which time the rural district had separated from the district in the establishment of Miyan Ab District.[4] It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
