Banafsh Tappeh Rural District (Persian: دهستان بنفشه تپه) is in Now Kandeh District of Bandar-e Gaz County, Golestan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 2,114 in 573 households.[3] There were 2,027 inhabitants in 615 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 1,772 in 610 households. The largest of its three villages was Jafa Kandeh, with 920 people.[2]
