Dowreh Rural District (Persian: دهستان دوره) is in the Central District of Dowreh County, Lorestan province, Iran.[3]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Dowreh-e Chegeni District of Khorramabad County) was 9,208 in 2,052 households.[4] There were 9,444 inhabitants in 2,349 households at the following census of 2011,[5] by which time the district had separated from the county in the establishment of Dowreh County.[3] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 8,907 in 2,484 households. The largest of its 45 villages was Naveh Kesh, with 983 people.[2]
