Ersi Rural District (Persian: دهستان ارسي)[3] is in the Central District of Jolfa County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Ersi.[5]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,779 in 1,408 households.[6] There were 4,250 inhabitants in 1,408 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,589 in 1,655 households. The largest of its seven villages was Livarjan, with 1,900 people.[2]
