Esfandaqeh Rural District (Persian: دهستان اسفندقه) is in Esfandaqeh District of Jiroft County, Kerman province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Dowlatabad.
At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 7,224 in 1,549 households.[4] There were 13,235 inhabitants in 3,345 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 12,310 in 3,531 households. The largest of its 94 villages was Dowlatabad, with 4,930 people.[2]
In 2017, Esfandaqeh Rural District was separated from the Central District, elevated to the status of a district, and divided into two rural districts: Esfandaqeh and Ferdows Rural Districts.[3]
