Fathabad Rural District (Persian: دهستان فتحآباد) is in Tasuj District of Kavar County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Fathabad.[3]
In November 2010, Kavar District was separated from Shiraz County in the establishment of Kavar County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Kavar as its capital and only city at the time.[3]
At the National Census of 2011, its population was 10,843 in 2,752 households.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 11,960 in 3,267 households. The largest of its 22 villages was Fathabad, with 3,804 people.[2]
