Howmeh Rural District (Persian: دهستان حومه)[3] is in the Central District of Bijar County, Kurdistan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,081 in 981 households.[4] There were 3,817 inhabitants in 1,028 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,352 in 1,062 households. The largest of its 46 villages was Khandan Qoli, with 895 people.[2]
