Kashanak (Persian: كشانك, also Romanized as Kashānak and Keshānak; also known as Golzār)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Almeh Rural District[4] of Samalqan District, Samalqan County, North Khorasan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,574 in 712 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,851 people in 856 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,807 people in 886 households; it was the largest village in its rural district. [2]
