Kasma (Persian: كسما, also Romanized as Kasmā and Kasmā’)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Kasma Rural District of the Central District of Sowme'eh Sara County, Gilan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,785 in 499 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,674 people in 506 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,508 people in 512 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
