Meyghan (Persian: ميغان, also Romanized as Meyghān, Maikhan, Maiqān, Maiqhān, Meyqān, and Mīghān)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Meyghan Rural District of the Central District of Nehbandan County, South Khorasan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 609 in 157 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 616 people in 177 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 664 people in 182 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
