Padena-ye Olya Rural District (Persian: دهستان پادنا عليا)[3] is in Danakuh District of Semirom County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of Padena District) was 9,844 in 2,225 households.[5] There were 9,589 inhabitants in 2,563 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,751 in 2,212 households, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Danakuh District.[4] The largest of its 24 villages was Bideh, with 1,618 people.[2]
