Rabat District (Persian: بخش ربط) is in Sardasht County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Rabat, whose population at the 2016 National Census was 15,750 people in 4,030 households.[2]

After the 2016 census, the village of Nalas was elevated to the status of a city.[3]

In 2022, Bask-e Kuleseh Rural District, Gavork-e Sardasht Rural District, and the city of Rabat were separated from the Central District; and the city of Nalas was separated from Vazineh District in the establishment of Rabat District.[4]
