Rumeshkan Rural District (Persian: دهستان رومشکان) is in the Central District of Rumeshkan County, Lorestan province, Iran.[3]

In May 2013, Rumeshkan District was separated from Kuhdasht County in the establishment of Rumeshkan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Chaqabol as its capital and only city.[3]

At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,814 in 2,130 households. The largest of its eight villages was Aqajan, with 2,364 people.[2]
