Ruran (Persian: روران, also Romanized as Rūrān)[3] is a village in Baraan-e Jonubi Rural District of the Central District of Isfahan County, Isfahan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,942 in 547 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,999 people in 258620households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,083 people in 642 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
