Shahiyun District (Persian: بخش شهیون) is in Dezful County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shahiyun.[3]
After the 2006 National Census, five rural districts were separated from Sardasht District in the establishment of Shahiyun District.
The 2011 census counted 7,272 people in 1,552 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 11,529 inhabitants in 2,677 households.[2]
After the 2016 census, the village of Shahiyun was elevated to the status of a city.[3]
