Naval jack of Brazil

This is a list of active Brazilian Navy ships. The Navy has approximately 134 ships in commission, including 39 auxiliary ships. 8 frigates/corvettes, 4 conventional attack submarines and 1 helicopter carrier. This list presents only the major combatant and auxiliary vessels in active service and in construction. The Navy also operates dozens of diverse vessels including for research, inshore and fast interdiction duties, while accumulating coastguard and river guard roles.
