Suchowola[3][4][5] [suxɔˈvɔla] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Osiek, within Staszów County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Osiek, 18 km (11 mi) east of Staszów, and 68 km (42 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kielce.[6]
The village has a population of 1,097.
Demography
According to the 2002 Poland census, there were 1,084 people residing in Suchowola village, of whom 49.6% were male and 50.4% were female. In the village, the population was spread out, with 26.9% under the age of 18, 38.3% from 18 to 44, 17.2% from 45 to 64, and 17.6% who were 65 years of age or older.[2]
