The Supreme Court of Montenegro (Montenegrin: Vrhovni sud Crne Gore / Врховни суд Црне Горе) is the highest court of Montenegro.[2]

Background

It was established on 1 June 1945.[2] Vesna Vučković is the acting president of the court.[3][lower-alpha 1]

Vesna Medenica, a former president of the court, stated that procedures at the court take an average of 50 days.[7]

Notes

  1. 1 2 Vesna Vučković was appointed acting president in 2021, but as of 17 January 2023, had yet to obtain the confidence of enough other judges of the court to serve a full term as president.[4][5][8]
