Tuis is a district of the Turrialba canton, in the Cartago province of Costa Rica.[1][2]

History

Tuis was created on 11 June 1968 by Decreto Ejecutivo 20. Segregated from La Suiza.[2]

Geography

Tuis has an area of 38.88 km²[3] and an elevation of 735 metres.[1]
