Zargan-e Karaneh (Persian: زرگان كرانه, also Romanized as Zargān-e Karāneh; also known as Zargān, Zargān Buzurg, Zargān-e Bozorg, and Zargān Garāneh)[3] is a village in Mosharrahat Rural District of Gheyzaniyeh District, Ahvaz County, Khuzestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 8,938 in 1,721 households, when it was a village in Veys Rural District of Veys District, Bavi County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 11,885 people in 2,989 households, by which time the village had been transferred to Mosharrahat Rural District of the Central District.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 7,744 people in 2,424 households, when the rural district had become a part of the newly established Gheyzaniyeh District.[6] It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
