Arzil (Persian: ارزيل, also Romanized as Arzīl)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Arzil Rural District of Kharvana District, Varzaqan County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 432 in 125 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 361 people in 110 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 528 people in 179 households.[2]
