Bowalhasan Rural District (Persian: دهستان بوالحسن)[3] is in Namshir District of Baneh County, Kurdistan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Bowalhasan.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,937 in 960 households.[5] There were 4,527 inhabitants in 1,061 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,614 in 1,571 households. The largest of its 20 villages was Bowalhasan, with 1,298 people.[2]
