The Central District of Baneh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان بانه) is in Kurdistan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Baneh.

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 78,016 in 17,522 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 96,243 people in 24,693 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 122,439 inhabitants in 33,921 households.[2]
