Dastjerd (Persian: دستجرد)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Dastjerd Rural District of Gugan District, Azarshahr County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 census, its population was 1,595 in 427 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,683 people in 533 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,608 people in 519 households.[2]
