Mamqan District (Persian: بخش ممقان) is in Azarshahr County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Mamqan.
At the 2006 census, its population was 10,874 in 3,259 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 13,365 people in 3,608 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 11,892 inhabitants living in 3,937 households.[2]
