Gonbad (Persian: گنبد)[3] is a village in Gonbad Rural District of the Central District of Hamadan County, Hamadan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,916 in 893 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,233 people in 922 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,991 people in 927 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
