Mohammadabad (Persian: محمداباد), also Romanized as Mandaba (مندبا) ; also known as Mandava) (مَندَوا),[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Fahraj Rural District of the Central District of Yazd County, Yazd province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,698 in 709 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,292 people in 724 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,277 people in 1,032 households.[2]
