Qeshm (Persian: قشم, also Romanized as Qishm; also known as Bandar-e Qeshm)[3] is a coastal city in the Central District of Qeshm County, Hormozgan province, Iran, serving as both capital of the district and of the county. The city's people speak Arabic.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 10,117 in 2,690 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 11,963 people in 3,394 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 13,659 people in 4,105 households.[2]
