Salmanshahr District (Persian: بخش سلمانشهر) is in Abbasabad County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Salman Shahr.
After the National Census of 2011, Salmanshahr and other parts of Kelar District were separated from the district in the establishment of Salmanshahr District, which was divided into two rural districts.
At the latest census in 2016, the district had 16,427 inhabitants in 5,253 households.[2]
