Kahriz-e Varvasht (Persian: كهريزوروشت, also Romanized as Kahrīz-e Varvasht; also known as Kahrīz)[3] is a village in Itivand-e Jonubi Rural District of Itivand District, Delfan County, Lorestan province, Iran, and serves as capital of the district.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population (as a part of Kakavand District) was 784 in 145 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 818 people in 186 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 670 people in 176 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
In March 2022, Itivand-e Jonubi Rural District and Itivand-e Shomali Rural District were separated from the district in the establishment of Itivand District, which was divided into two rural districts.[4]
