Shiravand (Persian: شيراوند, also Romanized as Shīrāvand; also known as Jūb Shahr)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Guran Rural District of the Central District of Holeylan County, Ilam province, Iran.[4] The village is populated by Kurds with a Lur minority.[5]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,150 in 224 households, when it was in Holeylan Rural District of the former Holeylan District of Chardavol County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,086 people in 282 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,391 people in 392 households.[2]

In 2018, Holeylan District was separated from Chardavol County in the establishment of Holeylan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Towhid as its capital and only city.[4]
