Tashan-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان تشان شرقی) is in Tashan District of Behbahan County, Khuzestan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 9,656 in 1,992 households.[3] There were 9,159 inhabitants in 2,274 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,375 in 1,218 households. The largest of its 32 villages was Veysi, with 854 people.[2]
