Karezan Rural District (Persian: دهستان كارزان) is in Karezan District of Sirvan County, Ilam province, Iran.[3]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Shirvan District of Chardavol County) was 4,593 in 929 households.[4] There were 4,345 inhabitants in 1,077 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,892 in 1,084 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Sirvan County.[3] The largest of its 21 villages was Cheshmeh Khazaneh, with 645 people.[2]
