Korand (Persian: كرند, also Romanized as Korand; also known as Kuren)[3] is a village in Kerend Rural District of Dashli Borun District, Gonbad-e Kavus County, Golestan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 4,342 in 969 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 4,922 people in 1,249 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,616 people in 1,530 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
