Local elections in Pateros were held on May 14, 2007, within the Philippine general election. The voters elected for the elective local posts in the city: the mayor, vice mayor, District representative, and councilors, six in each of the city's two legislative districts.
Background
Mayor Rosendo "Endo" Capco ran for re-election. He faced off Jaime "Joey" Medina of PDP–Laban.
Vice Mayor Dominador "Ador" Rosales ran for re-election. He was challenged by Second District Councilor Jose Jonathan "Jojo" Sanchez, Medina's running mate.
Taguig-Pateros Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano was term-limited. He ran as senator instead.[1][2][3] His wife, Ma. Laarni "Lani" Cayetano ran for his place. Cayetano ran against Mayor Capco's brother, former Mayor Jose "Pepe" Capco Jr., and Taguig Second District Councilor Arnel Cerafica.
